While this does fall into the category of a rumor, it was basically assumed knowledge at this point that the Texas Rangers would be interested in free agent Josh Donaldson this winter. Jeff Passan of ESPN confirmed this for us on Twitter noting that the Rangers, along with the Phillies, are registering an interest in the former MVP who most recently applied his trade on a one-year, $24 million deal in Atlanta.
