Kicking off next week, the Arizona Fall League (AFL) is entering its 33 season of fall baseball action consisting of some of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball. A time to get more reps beyond the regular season, this year the Texas Rangers are sending seven players to Arizona.
First founded in 1992, the AFL has seen hallowed talent play on the spring training fields in Arizona. From Derek Jeter, Todd Helton and Albert Pujols to Roy Halladay, Max Scherzer and Buster Posey.
Former Rangers' Michael Young, Rafael Soriano Derek Lowe, Mark Teixeira and manager Ron Washington are part of the 46 players inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame.
