Rangers to allow full house at opener

The Texas Rangers have announced that they will allow a full house for the 2021 home opener, as well as the two exhibition games scheduled prior to the start of the season. The plan apparently is to have “social distanced sections” available thereafter, whatever that means. They are requiring masks be worn for the games, and I’m curious to see how and to what extent that will be enforced.

Not sure what to say about this. I think we have expected that fans would be allowed at that stadium to start the year, especially given fans were allowed to attend World Series games in 2020 at Globe Life Park, but that it would be at 25% capacity or something similar to start the year.
