ARLINGTON -- The Rangers hit five home runs, including the first by Adrian Beltre since coming off the disabled list, as they bludgeoned the Athletics for a 7-4 victory at Globe Life Park on Tuesday night.
Beltre's first home run since April 14 came off Athletics reliever Lou Trivino leading off the eighth inning to give the Rangers a 5-4 lead. Joey Gallo gave them a cushion with a two-run home run later in the frame. It was his 16th of the year.
Gallo's home run had an exit velocity of 117.
