ARLINGTON - Reliever Shawn Kelley was activated from the injured list Tuesday but got even better news. The two growths he had attached to lymph nodes removed from his throat were declared non-cancerous by a pathologist. There had been concerns about lymphoma.
"I really felt like it was going to be OK," Kelley said. "But to have peace of mind that everything is all right on the day that I'm activated is really cool. It's been a rough two weeks not knowing about the situation, but I feel like I'm pretty good at not panicking until there is a reason to panic.
