The Texas Rangers have purchased the contract of outfielder Derek Hill from AAA Round Rock, the team announced today. Hill is taking the roster spot of Davis Wendzel, who was optioned to AAA Round Rock yesterday. To make room for him on the 40 man roster, the Rangers have moved Austin Pruitt from the 15 day injured list to the 60 day injured list.
