The MLB Pipeline 2021 top 100 prospect list is out, and the Texas Rangers placed three prospects on the list.
Josh Jung, the Rangers’ first round pick out of Texas Tech in 2019, is the top ranked Ranger on the list, coming in at #63. Catcher Sam Huff, who made his major league debut in 2020, checks in at #78 on the list. And pitcher Dane Dunning, who was acquired from the Chicago White Sox in the Lance Lynn trade, is at #91 in the rankings.
Leody Taveras has been #4 on the Rangers list behind those three on MLB Pipeline, so it is not a surprise that he didn’t crack the list.
