With the Texas Rangers about to kick off their final home series and eventual final week of the 2025 season, they will once again fall short of making the postseason after winning a World Series two seasons ago.
At 79-77 (.506), the Rangers made an amazing late season surge in late August, being as close as two games out of the American League West division until suffering seven straight losses and falling dramatically behind.
With a lot of optimism heading into the season, the Rangers were determined to not repeat a dreadful 2024 season but from the get go back in March, it all seemed to not fit together.
