Rangers misfortunes continue after young outfielder's latest update

The 2025 Texas Rangers continue to take hit after hit and the latest involves outfielder Evan Carter.

Revealed on Friday afternoon, Carter will likely miss the remainder of the season due to a wrist fracture he suffered in the series finale against Kansas City. He was hit on the hand by a pitch from the Royals' Daniel Lynch IV in the seventh inning of Texas's 6-4 loss.

Carter's injury is exclamation to a second-straight disappointing season for Rangers

For Carter the season hasn't been close to what he hoped it would be. After missing the majority of 2024 with a lingering back issue, he struggled to find his footing in spring training and started the season with Triple-A Round Rock.
