Rangers' latest victory featured rarely seen offensive feat

The Texas Rangers put up three touchdowns and a missed PAT on Wednesday night as they throttled division rival L.A. Angels 20-3. It is the first time the team has scored at least 20 runs in a game since July 2011, against the Minnesota Twins.

When Los Angeles Angels interim manager Ray Montgomery decided to raise the white flag in Wednesday night's 20-3 throttling at the hands of the Rangers, he was trying to save his bullpen arms and hopefully limp to the finish line somehow. Instead, he extended the game by an hour and put a serious dent in the Angels' team ERA.
