The Texas Rangers have claimed relief pitcher Kolton Ingram on waivers from the New York Mets, the team announced today. With this claim, the 40 man roster is now full.

Ingram, 27, is a small (listed at 5’9”, 170 lbs.) lefthander who was originally drafted in the 37th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers. He was released by the Tigers in June, 2020, and signed by the Anaheim Angels in March, 2021. The Angels purchased his contract in 2023, resulting in him being on the 40 man roster, and he appeared in five games for them last year, putting up an 8.
