Rangers announce Adrian Beltre's No. 29 will be retired June 8 vs. Oakland

Update, Feb. 5: The Texas Rangers have announced the retirement ceremony for Adrian Beltre's number will happen prior to the game against the Oakland A's on Saturday, June 8.

From the organization: "The Rangers and A's play at 8:05 p.m. that night at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The Beltre on-field ceremony is expected to begin at approximately 7:35 p.m. In addition, the first 15,000 fans entering the park that night will receive a Dr Pepper/Brookshire's "The 3000th Hit" Adrian Beltre Bobblehead."
