The Texas Rangers are trading for lefthanded reliever Danny Coulombe from the Minnesota Twins, per reports.

Coulombe, 35, is on a one year, $3 million deal with the Twins, and will be a free agent after the season. He has a 1.16 ERA and 1.96 FIP this year in 31 innings over 40 games, though with a 3.15 xERA, and has a 2.10 ERA and 2.71 FIP since the start of the 2022 season. Coulombe has been equally effective against both lefties and righties. He has allowed no home runs and just three extra base hits while facing 122 batters this season.
