Texas Rangers transactions: Phillips Valdez has been recalled from AAA Nashville, the team announced today. To make room for him on the 25 man roster, the Rangers have optioned Peter Fairbanks to AAA Nashville.
The Peter Fairbanks Experience was a wild ride, as he came up and dominated his first two outings in the majors. He then had a pair of outings where he gave up a solo home run, had another scoreless outing, and then had three straight bad appearances, including one where he gave up a pair of home runs, and last night’s outing, where he gave up a hit and a pair of walks.
