Texas Rangers rumors: All arbitration-eligible players for the Texas Rangers are expected to be tendered contracts by today’s deadline, per Evan Grant on Twitter.
The Rangers arbitration-eligible players are Joey Gallo, Nomar Mazara, Danny Santana, Rafael Montero and Delino DeShields. In addition, Nick Goody, who has until today to decide whether to accept the Rangers’ waiver claim of him, or to instead opt for free agency, is arbitration-eligible, though I suspect that if Goody doesn’t elect for free agency it will be because he and the Rangers have agreed on a contract.
