Manager Terry Collins is scheduled to give his state-of-the-team address on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET.

Collins tells Bob Nightengale in USA Today that he beat himself up for not taking out Matt Harvey before the ninth inning of Game 5 of the World Series. “I hate to revisit this whole thing, but when a manager makes a decision that goes against your gut, and is not statistically based, managers second-guess ourselves,” Collins said.
