The Miami Marlins have let president of baseball operations Mike Hill go, per multiple reports.
Interestingly, Hill was originally a Texas Rangers draft pick, selected in the 31st round in 1993, and playing in the Rangers system in 1993 and 1994. Hill was in the Tampa Bay Rays front office from 1995-99, then was director of player development for the Colorado Rockies before joining the Marlins in 2002. He was general manager for the Marlins for a number of years before assuming the president of baseball operations role in 2013.
