Texas Rangers transactions: Leody Taveras has been recalled from the Alternate Training Site and Robinson Chirinos has been activated from the injured list, the team announced today. To make room on the active roster, the Rangers have placed Jesse Chavez on the injured list and have designated Rob Refsnyder for assignment.
While Leody made the team out of summer camp as part of the 30 man roster, he appeared in only one game, as a defensive replacement, before being sent out in favor of Adolis Garcia.
