The Texas Rangers have officially activated pitchers Jose Leclerc, Brock Burke and Joe Palumbo from the 45 day injured list. Burke missed all of the 2020 season due to shoulder surgery this spring, Leclerc missed most of 2020 due to a torn shoulder muscle suffered early on in the season, and Palumbo ended up on the 45 day injured list due to ulcerative colitis.
With these moves, the Rangers’ 40 man roster stands at 35. There are four pitchers who are Rule 5 eligible and who appear likely to be added to the 40 man roster this winter — Alex Speas, Jason Bahr, Yerry Rodriguez and Jake Latz.
