The Texas Rangers are officially the walking wounded as the team has lost Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Evan Carter, and Nathan Eovaldi over the last 10 days, all almost certainly for the regular season at least. Despite their injury struggles, the team is back in the playoff race and could be getting some much-needed pitching reinforcements in Chris Martin and Tyler Mahle.
Mahle, especially, would be a welcome sight, as he could take the spot of Evo in a Rangers' rotation that has been as good as any team in baseball this season. Mahle started the year looking very, very good, but then went down with a rotator cuff strain nearly three months ago.
