MLB Rumors: Jung Hoo Lee of the KBO and the San Francisco Giants have agreed to terms on a six year, $113 million deal with an opt out after four years, per Jon Heyman on Twitter.
Lee, 25, is a contact-oriented centerfielder who won the Rookie of the Year in the KBO as an 18 year old in 2017. He doesn’t have much power and doesn’t walk much, but he’s a quality defensive centerfielder who can run and should hit for average. He has a career .340/.407/.491 slash line in the KBO, and has walked more often than he has struck out in each of his last five seasons.
