Texas Rangers transactions: Hunter Pence has been activated from the injured list today, and pitcher Taylor Guerrieri has had his contract purchased, adding him to the 25 and 40 man rosters. To make room on the 25 man roster for Pence and Guerrieri, Willie Calhoun has been optioned and Jesse Biddle has been placed on the injured list with a sore shoulder.
Who the odd man out would be when Pence returned has been the subject of much debate, and Calhoun drew the short straw.
