He's still got it: Adrian Beltre launches two homers as Rangers fall to A's

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Adrian Beltre, it appears, still knows how to hit.

Having healthy, er, healthy-ish legs, helps. On Saturday, Beltre, who said earlier in the week he's feeling close to 100 percent after dealing with hamstring injuries most of the year, had his first multi-homer game of the season in an 8-6 loss to Oakland.

Beltre is now 10 for 26 (.385) in September with five home runs. Those numbers would seem to be significant since only two weeks ago, in discussing his future, Beltre questioned whether he can still hit. On Saturday he said he had previously been joking.
