The next step in the offseason for the Texas Rangers is the MLB Winter Meetings coming up next week from December 7-10 in Orlando, Florida.
Packed into those four days, President of Baseball Operations Chris Young and GM Ross Fenstermaker will get the chance to engage with key members of the other 29 teams, potentially make a few deals or free agent signings and the 2026 MLB Draft Lottery.
The Rangers have been known to go big during the Winter Meetings, including the big deal for Alex Rodriguez in 2000, signing C.J. Wilson in 2011 and last year and acquired the infield duo of Marcus Semien and Corey Seager in 2021 around that time as well.
