The first inning was a bit of a mess, as he started things going walk, bunt single with a throwing error, an E-3, and another walk, but settled down after that. His final line was 4 IP. 4 hits, 3 runs (1 earned), 2 walks, and 3 Ks, with 34 strikes out of 55 pitches. The Hickory hitters racked up 15 hits on the day, with Curtis Terry knocking a homer and two doubles, and Jonathan Ornelas picking up a pair of singles.
