Hickory and Frisco each had doubleheaders today, so we had six scheduled games for the four affiliates. Down East, however, had their game suspended in the fourth inning, to be resumed at a later date.
John King continued his exemplary work for the Wood Ducks, giving up 1 run in 2 hits in 4 innings before the game was suspended. He and Jason Bahr are both making a case to move to the Frisco rotation this summer.
Game One for Frisco saw Joe Barlow make his AA debut, needing 13 pitches (9 strikes) to retire the side in order, one via strikeout.
