MLB Trade Rumors: Rafael Devers is being dealt to the San Francisco Giants from the Boston Red Sox, per multiple reports.
Pitchers Kyle Harrison and Jordan Hicks are reportedly part of the deal as well.
Devers, 28, is in the second year of a 10 year, $313.5 million dollar deal that the Red Sox signed him to prior to his hitting the free agent market, with Boston seemingly motivated, at least in part, by a desire to avoid losing Devers in free agency after shortstop Xander Bogaerts signed with San Diego.
Devers has slashed .271/.400/.494 this year, and is leading the American League in walks.
