It shouldn't be a surprise given payroll uncertainties next season that despite a lack of motivation from the Texas Rangers to part ways with Corey Seager, MLB teams continue to express interest in the two-time World Series MVP.
The latest team to do so is the Boston Red Sox, who reportedly have engaged in discussions with Texas about acquiring Seager. While Boston and other teams are interested, those conversations haven't gone beyond surface level.
Rangers aren't trading Seager but would be doing a disservice to not field calls
Honestly, getting calls about players, especially during the offseason is a pretty common procedure and those discussions are bound to ramp up a bit more once all 30 front offices are in the same area like they are this week in Orlando at the Winter Meetings.
