Tonight’s game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test involving a member of the Cardinals, per reports. There are no clear indications as to how many individuals with the Cardinals have tested positive, but reportedly, if there are no positive tests tomorrow, the Brewers and Cardinals will play Saturday.
This is obviously a situation that MLB is dealing with on the fly, and I think the agreement to have seven inning doubleheaders, which is expected to be announced today, is a reflection of the league and players realizing that there will likely be a lot more cancellations going forward.
