Brock Burke dominates before leaving with injury

Texas Rangers pitcher Brock Burke was on the mound for Frisco tonight, looking to rebound after a rough last outing, and was excellent until he was pulled mid-batter in the fifth inning. He went on the disabled list briefly earlier this year with a blister issue, and Tepid says it appeared to be the same problem today — we will keep our fingers crossed that that’s all it is.

Burke was dominant before whatever the issue is arose — he struck out 8 of the first 16 batters he faced in 4.2 IP, allowing one hit and one walk, before he issued a four pitch walk and then threw more balls to the next batter before being pulled.
