The 2021 Baseball Prospectus top 100 prospect list is out, and the Texas Rangers have four prospects who made the list.
The four prospects in question are the four that I think we all figure are the most likely ones to make an appearance on a top 100 list — Leody Taveras, Josh Jung, Sam Huff and Dane Dunning. I think there’s a consensus that those are the top four prospects in the system, with the question being order and where they fall in an overall list of MLB prospects.
That said, the ranking of Leody is pretty notable as he is at #26 on their list — much higher than I think anyone else will have him.
