2019 MLB Mock Draft: Baseball America’s latest mock draft for 2019 (or, really, their mock top 10 picks for 2019) is out, and they have the Rangers going with a high school outfielder with their top pick.
BA has the Rangers going with Seattle high school outfielder Corbin Carroll at #8. Carroll is a true centerfielder who BA says could be the best pure hitter in the draft. Texas has leaned high school heavy with their top picks during the Jon Daniels era, though Carroll is less of the super toolsy type they’ve been associated with.
