ARLINGTON -- This is a huge week for two Rangers icons. Ivan Rodriguez is being inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday and Adrian Beltre is approaching 3,000 career hits.
Beltre needs four hits to reach 3,000 going into the Rangers' weekend series against the Orioles. Since Texas has a day game on Sunday and the induction ceremony is that afternoon, there is a possibility that Beltre could get his landmark hit at the same time Rodriguez is giving his induction speech in Cooperstown.
