The Texas Rangers have activated Kohei Arihara from the 60 day injured list and have activated Charlie Culberson from the COVID-19 injured list, the team announced today. In addition, the team has purchased the contract pitcher Hyeon-jong Yang. Ryan Dorow has been returned to AAA Round Rock.
As rosters expand to 28 today, there is only one roster spot that has to be opened up to add these three players. Since Dorow was added to the active and 40 man roster as part of a COVID outbreak, he is able to be returned to the minors and removed from the 40 man roster without being put on waivers.
