Anderson Tejeda to miss time with shoulder problem

Anderson Tejeda, the Texas Rangers’ shortstop prospect currently with the Down East Wood Ducks, will miss the “next couple of weeks,” per Evan Grant on Twitter, due to discomfort in his left shoulder.

The good news is that Tejeda throws righthanded, so this is his non-throwing shoulder. The bad news is that it is a shoulder issue, on the heels of shortstop Chris Seise missing the rest of 2019 due to a torn labrum in his shoulder, after he missed all of 2018 with a shoulder issue.
