HOUSTON - Hunter Pence, who spent the first five years of his career with the Astros, returned to Minute Maid Park for the first time in nearly seven years.
And to those in attendance, it might have looked like nothing changed.
He's a starter once again.
After being benched in San Francisco last year, forced to take a minor league contract in February and spending the first month of the season on the Rangers' bench, the Rangers are moving Pence back into the regular starting lineup. He stands to be the big winner in that regard in the wake of the Delino DeShields demotion.
