Lance Lynn was ruthless tonight. Despite the Rangers stumbling defensively behind him often, Lynn was able to get through nine innings of work on 109 pitches for a complete game victory while allowing just one earned run.
Frankly, it should have been zero but there was rarely a ball that a Rangers fielder could handle without batting it around like a seal dressed up like a clown at a circus behind Lynn tonight.
Nevertheless, Lynn is one of the few difference makers that the Rangers possess and that proved true tonight as Lynn ran his record to 3-0 on the year and dropped his ERA to 1.
