The Texas Rangers scored twice but the Detroit Tigers scored four times.
The good news is Jon Gray was pretty good today and even pitched a quality start, his second positive outing in a row after a couple of clunkers to start his campaign.
The bad news is the Rangers lineup was not very good today and that has been a troubling trend for much of the last two weeks or so.
The worse news is the Rangers apparently have like two relievers that they can count on and they pitched yesterday which meant we had Jose Urena and Jacob Latz in a tied game which, you know, you have to put someone out there, but it’s not something you’d want to count on and indeed by the time they were done with the eighth inning the Rangers had three outs to solve a closer.
