73-74 - The game only took forever but the Rangers beat the Rays 10-9

No one show this one to Rob Manfred as the Rangers and Rays spent like 4:15 minutes playing a nine inning baseball game.

Luckily, Rougned Odor’s 25th dinger on the year helped the Rangers avoid the embarrassment of blowing a game where they scored seven runs in the first inning and then were trailing through most of the evening.

The Rays and Rangers combined to score 14 runs through the first inning and a half but a sac fly by Tampa Bay in the top of the fourth broke the tie and it looked like Texas was heading for another close loss before Odor’s two-out, three-run seventh inning blast saved their bacon.
