Mike Minor hadn’t allowed a run this month until giving up a two-run homer to Mitch Garver one pitch after a Rougned Odor error in the top of the fourth inning in tonight’s 4-3 loss to the Twins.
Since the Texas Rangers had scored a total of two runs for Minor in his starts this month, one could have assumed this game could just be chalked up as a loss right then and there. However, the Rangers scored a run in the bottom of the inning and then took a one-run lead in the sixth with Minor looking stingy on the mound again.
