SURPRISE, Ariz. - A little insight into the spring training schedule: Pitchers and catchers show up and there is great rejoicing. A few days later the rest of the team joins them, and for a day, everything is buzzy.
And the next everybody looks around and is, like, "well when do the games begin?"
The wait gets a little more tedious when it rains or, in the case of this Rangers camp, when it hails. But, on Saturday the exhibition season, along with a dose of sunshine, arrives. Not a moment too soon either. Starting with Saturday's exhibition against Kansas City, there is a lot for the Rangers to cram into the next four weeks.
