SURPRISE, Ariz. - The Rangers reach the mid-point of their Arizona schedule Saturday. They will have two weeks' worth of exhibitions behind them and two weeks to go before breaking camp and finalizing a roster.
It's that strange point in the spring when you can't tell the mirages from the cacti. There have been enough games to compile some stats, but if you reach out and try to project those dreamy numbers into regular-season performance, you are liable to end up with a handful of thorns.
