I don't often see the validity in MLB mock drafts. First, the players aren't seen by fans nearly as often. Second, well, they won't be seen my most fans for a couple of years. So, we can toss out names, but teams keep their strategies very, very tight, especially since there is no trading of picks and less reason to make strategies public.
With that in mind, I think this draft has a whole bunch of guys who could go in the 10-20 range, who, according to most mock drafts, are pretty interchangeable. So with that in mind, here's a list of five guys that for one reason or another, given the Rangers' draft history, seem to make some sense:
