The Texas Rangers scored seven runs while the Houston Astros scored three runs.
It’s been a long time coming and a long wait for the Rangers to get on a heater at the dish like the one they find themselves on right now. The issues with Texas this season have been well documented. The no show from the bats have kept the Rangers hovering just below .500 with the All-Star break coming next week.
However, after averaging nearly ten runs per game in the series from Anaheim, the Rangers returned to Texas and just kept right on hitting in the opener of this series against AL West-leading Houston.
