The hunt for win No. 246 for Bartolo Colon will be left to next time as tonight just wasn’t the night. Colon didn’t have it and the Rangers didn’t even score a run to support him.
Player of the Game: Hey, congrats to new bullpen arm Jeffrey Springs for making his MLB debut tonight and, though he battled the nerves in his first inning and allowed a run, he bounced back in his second inning and struck out two in a 1-2-3 inning.
