The Texas Rangers still did not score a run and the Detroit Tigers scored 14 runs.
Kyle Gibson had his worst outing since Opening Day and it came at a bad time with the trade deadline less than two weeks away.
Overall Gibson finished his evening by allowing eight runs on ten hits and two walks with two strikeouts in five innings of work.
Gibson could have been perfect on the night and it wouldn’t have even mattered because the Rangers also didn’t score for a third straight contest and managed only four hits on the evening.
