When this road trip began, the Rangers were coming off the high of a home series win against St. Louis to open up the month of June. By the time the first leg of the trip concluded, things never felt lower as Texas was swept in Tampa including an egregiously embarrassing finale loss.
Once the Rangers lost the opener in Washington in under two hours with perhaps their worst performance at the plate all season, things looked quite dire. Perhaps that was the nadir of legend?
