The Texas Rangers scored four runs but the Seattle Mariners scored five runs in 10 innings.
This had to be one of the sloppiest games of baseball that I’ve ever seen. There was five errors between the teams, terrible outfield routes, probably a dozen replays, like 147 walks, surely 20 pitching changes, nearly 7,467 pitches, and perhaps every single out came on the basepaths.
That’s how I’m forced to remember it as its endless breadth consumed my entire evening until it became the early morning hours. Such is the vortex of misery that the Seattle Mariners inevitably sucks you into.
