A quick winter meetings summation on the Rangers activity:
They signed a starting pitcher. They made a straight swap of major league players and traded another player for draft flexibility. They claimed a player off waivers. They made a Rule 5 draft selection and not one, but, two Rule 5 trades.
Truth: They might have been the most active of teams in Las Vegas.
And that's after an offseason that's already seen them hire a new manager and coaching staff and reshape the front office.
"It's been the busiest we've had that I can remember," Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said.
