Mike Minor has certainly seen better days in Arlington as tonight the former Ranger All-Star starter allowed nine runs in his five innings of work as Texas bullied their way to a victory in the weekend series opener.
Besides the outburst from the batters, the Rangers shined especially on defense behind Dane Dunning as they made several outstanding plays in the field to keep their starter on the mound long enough to collect the win.
Dunning ultimately allowed two runs in five innings on 85 pitches.
